Kids in the Kitchen will be hosting a booth at the Clear Channel Safe Kids Fair, February 26-27, 2010 at the South Towne Expo Center (located at 9575 South State Street) from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Friday and Saturday. For more information www.safekidsfair.com
The Junior League of Salt Lake City is also proud to announce that George Stella from the Food Network will be our lead celebrity demonstrator for our 2010 Kids in the Kitchen fair. George will run the Iron Chef Kids Challenge which focuses on healthy cooking that children can do themselves. This event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at The Discovery Gateway.
Along with visits and talks from local celebrities, many local businesses have committed to setting up and running booths for this event. We are also looking forward to scheduling local chefs for cooking demonstrations. We are excited for this year’s fabulous event that could impact upwards of 1,000 children.
