Thank you to all of the supporters of the Junior League of Salt Lake City Black and White Night!
| The eighth
annual Black and White Night was held on November 3, 2007 at
the Utah Museum of Fine Arts building on the University of Utah
campus. It was a fun evening of food, drinks, live music by the S.P.
Coltrain Jazz Combo, dancing, fabulous opportunity drawings, and the not-to-be-
missed Andy Warhol's "Dream America" exhibition.
Attendees experienced some of the late artist's most popular portfolios of work including
the Marilyn Monroes, Campbell's
soup cans, and Mick Jaggers, while celebrating the Junior League of Salt Lake
City's impact on women and children in our community.
|
In addition to celebrating some of our past projects, we revealed our latest community collaboration:
Refugee Integration into Society through Education, or RISE! This project will be in collaboration with Catholic Community Services, which helps refugees settle in the Salt Lake City community. We will offer a program of courses to women to help them integrate into American society.
