Coat Drive to Give Coats to Needy Children

Salt Lake City , November 17, 2004 - The Junior League of Salt Lake City, Inc. in partnership with KJQ, 103.1 FM is hosting, COATS 4 KIDS , a coat drive to help put coats on the children in our community who are in need of warm winter clothing. The coat drive started October 1 and went through November 13. Coats were collected throughout the valley at various locations and will be distributed to families referred by a partner agency on Saturday, November 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Junior League office which is located at 526 East 300 South, Salt Lake City.

The Junior League of Salt Lake City, Inc. is an organization of nearly 700 women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action, education and leadership of trained volunteers.
