Volunteer Opportunities for Women Helping Women Clothing Boutique

We are looking for women interested in volunteering with us in our Women Helping Women Clothing Boutique.  Women Helping Women is a project in which Junior League volunteers collect, prepare, and distribute donated professional women's clothing. These clothes are given to women entering the workforce and who are in transition towards self-sufficiency. Click here to see July opportunities.

This years CARE Fair was a great success thanks to the many organizations and volunteers who pitched in to make it happen! Hundreds of families needing routine medical, dental, vision services, and community assistance information were provided for free of charge!

Take a look at the latest The Salty Honey blog post!

Loren Micalizio had a delicious luncheon with past, present and future presidents of the League.  See what they cooked up: Champagne Cosmopolitan, Fava Bean Crostini, Orechiette with Fresh Mozarella, Chicken Saltimboca, Zuchinni Fans and Caramel Shortbread.  All recipes of our Salt to Honey cookbook.

Friends of the League Annual Campaign

The Junior League of Salt Lake City (JLSLC) is excited to kick off our annual Friends of the League Campaign! Each donation we receive is a positive reminder that we are working together for change in our community. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will help to continue our mission to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Current JLSLC community projects include:

Junior League CARE Fair - served more than 3,600 people in the Salt Lake Community
Women Helping Women Clothing Boutique - served approximately 600 women this year since June
Kids in the Kitchen - partnering with the YWCA shelter to provide nutritional education to moms and kids that are staying at the shelter while finding affordable housing.
